Causeway Coast

Bushmills is at the centre of the Causeway Coast, with its most notable landmark, the shoreline stepping stones of the Giant's Causeway, a short walk away. There is no charge to visit the causeway. But since this is a World Heritage Site, it attracts the crowds and vehicles. To avoid the crush, walkers are advised to take the North Antrim Cliff Path and the few hundred steps that link the path to the shore. Bushmills also has a world-wide reputation as a distiller of fine Irish whiskey. There are guided tours around the distillery year-round, fewer in the November to March winter season. Visit Brochurelink for a free 2006 guide to the Causeway Coast and Antrim Glens.
