Pitlochry is the tourist centre of Highland Perthshire. Famous for it's scenery and hydro-electric dam with the salmon ladder best seen in the spring and early summer months. The celebrated Festival Theatre presents plays through the summer while in September the Highland Games comes to town. The ever ubiquitous whisky distillery makes its appearance as Edradour, Scotland's smallest, just on the edge of town. '...his knights felled, his castles besieged..."It's been coming for years" he said. "Shall we drink to the years?" to cite the distiller's tempting line in bottle labelling.
