St Davids

The smallest city in Britain, and a city because of its links with St David, the patron saint of Wales. The secluded cathedral - in a hollow with only the roofs and towers of the building visible from the land around it - was founded by St David in the 6th century. The present cathedral was started in the 12th century. The seashore and the fabulous Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a ten minute walk from the city centre.
